A few years back I was having a conversation with some people on how whenever you decide to invest in something for the long term, you should always think ahead on what would be the best choice in the long run while having persistence to follow through with it.

When I first heard this, I knew that the penny doubled everyday must have been the better choice to go with as it was a little obvious to me that it had to be a trick question of some sort. But how much better would it be was not something that I knew immediately. So to demonstrate this, it was actually written out with all the calculations and it turned out to something like this:

Quite a big difference once you look at it as you would be getting over 5 million dollars with the penny doubled everyday for 30 days route. The funny thing when I look at this is how it is almost like starting a business and trying to make a profit. In the beginning you struggle a lot to get things going and afterwards once it reaches to a point it just takes off smoothly. How does that analogy go again……it is something like starting a business is like a rocket ship taking off into space. You spend 80% of your fuel during take off and once it reaches a certain point it flies smoothly with minimal consumption.

John Paul Getty once said, “I’d rather have 1% of the effort of 100 people than 100% of my own.”

How does understanding the principle of duplication help you?

This is the basis of royalty or residual type incomes that creates huge wealth.  In other words, rather than basing your income on a large one time sale, what if you could base your income on a small piece of a continually growing pie like the penny doubling scenario illustrated above?  By following simple tasks and teaching others to do the same, you can put yourself in line to benefit from the doubling principle over and over again until your income reaches unbelievable heights.

THE CYCLE OF DUPLICATION

If you can create a cycle of duplication within your own HealthyPetNet organization you will reach success beyond your wildest dreams. It's already happening for many other HPN reps that I've met over the past year or so.

I think it's crucial to stress to prospective reps the value and benefits of purchasing the Executive Pack when they sign up!  One of the challenges we face in this business is that some reps have so little invested that they don't treat HPN like the BIG business it is and therefore it becomes very easy to quit when they experience any degree of rejection or failure. 
 
Sometimes I wish that it cost $30,000 to get started in HPN so Reps would think twice about quitting everytime they encounter an objection from a prospect. Consider that most traditional businesses cost thousands of dollars to start up. I don't know of any other business that you can get started in for less than $300 with the potential to earn $5,000 or $10,000+ per month like you can with HealthyPetNet!!
 
I would strongly recommend that every new Rep write a check payable to HPN for $30,000 and tape it on their refrigerator or bathroom mirror. Eveyday when they look at that check they should consider that this is what they have invested in their business and treat it accordingly!!
 
Our statistics show that Reps who join with the Executive Pack become more successful faster than Reps who join with just the basic Starter Kit.  Why?...

It's imperative to build your business on a strong foundation and preparation is key to your success in any business.  However, don't confuse activity with accomplishment.  Taking care of all the preparation is essential, however the bottom line is... if you're not doing something that is actually earning you money, you're only doing "busy work." Sharpening pencils and organizing your desk will not make you any money. Getting out the DVD's and samples will!

Your website's back office is filled withSell Sheets” for each product under the “documents” section when you log in.  These are great for handing out.  Some good cover letters and other sales aids are available on the documents page of this training website.

 

 

 

3Samples are also key to your success.  Our foods are extremely palatable. If you can get someone to watch the DVD and use the sample, it will practically guarantee the sale.

 

 

 

First, ask your customer prospect to watch "The Truth About Pet Food" DVD. Explain how the DVD highlights some very compelling and disturbing facts regarding pet food formulations. Second, ask them to do a TASTE TEST with the sample to see if their pet likes it. They should put the food they are currently feeding in one dish and ours in another.

Wherever you go, it seems that there is always an opportunity to give out a DVD. At restaurants, at the park, in stores, etc.  There are always people walking their dogs or talking about their pets.

5.   HPN Newsletter - HealthyPetNet offers a monthly online newsletter that is packed with valuable information.  Each month it comes out, it highlights another product we sell.  You automatically receive the newsletter as long as you use the Replicator Site.  The newsletter is emailed to you once a month as well as your customers.  You should make an effort to gather email addresses from prospects so that you can put them on your newsletter mailing list. This system is automatic.  Just visit your replicator site and click on the Newsletter link to input a subscriber's email address.

drjane.png    Invite People to the Thursday Night Call with Dr. Jane - This is an incredible resource that no other pet food company has.  Every Thursday evening, Dr. Jane hosts a live conference telephone call where she discusses the product line and also entertains questions about our animals.  This is an invaluable training resource.  You, your customers, and your downline of reps will gain a wealth of knowledge with these training calls.  It is a very friendly and informal atmosphere.  If you are serious about selling this line of products, you should not miss these calls.  The call begins at 8:30 pm eastern time. 

This next section features tools that are not necessary, but are HIGHLY recommended:

  • Dog and Cat Shows - Dog and Cat Shows are tremendous places to build your HPN business. Check around your local area for booth space in a dog or cat show.  You can usually find this information through a dog club, or through the AKC.  Booth space varies in price, but it is usually inexpensive and an excellent way to have people coming to you to view our products.  There are a lot of breeders, groomers, and other professionals at shows, as well as plenty of spectators who have pets.  You can generate enough leads at a show to keep you busy for months.

Your Own Domain Name - A domain name is simply a web address name such as this one: www.hpnpets.com. That's easier for people to use and remember rather than a web address such as - trilogyonline.com/yourname.  My www.hpnpets.com domain takes a prospect to the same address as: http://www.trilogyonline.com/Trilogy/Pets/PetsHome.aspx?Ath=False&realname=10018120&hdr=&cat=0 yet it is a much easier address to share with prospects.  

Every rep should purchase their own domain name for a few reasons:  First, it is easier for others to remember.  Second, It looks more professional.  Third, it guarantees that people will not accidentally find another persons web site.  You can obtain a domain name very cheaply at many places. I use www.GoDaddy.com  Once you have a domain name you can link it to your HPN site for free!  It is like using call forwarding on a phone.  People type in your domain name but are sent to your HPN site!  If you need any help doing this with GoDaddy, please contact Spencer.

  • The Internet - As mentioned above, about 80% of all orders received by HPN come via the internet.  If you can get started in any kind of online marketing that drives potential customers and business prospects to your web site, you will be giving your business a tremendous boost.  People are online right now searching for better pet foods and products.  If they do not know where to find you, you will miss a sale.  Advertising your site is essential to gaining business that you are missing from this growing market place.  If you already have a website for another business, or if you know someone with a website who will let you put a link to your HPN website.
